Carol Twombly

Nueva Standard was created by Carol Twombly in 1994 to accompany her existing all-caps Charlemagne typeface. It was only meant to be lowercase but had evolved into its own typeface with its all-new capital letters. The high stroke contrast and rounded character shapes. Nueva Standard is a typeface with modern elements but retains its traditional roots. This is a typeface that has character (no pun intended).
