It was back in 1995 when Vincent Connare, a worker for Microsoft, made this font. He felt the need to change the font after testing a beta program called Microsoft Bob. Microsoft Bob was a program ment for making a more user friendly interface. The "main character" to this interface was a pixilated dog. This dog had a speech bubble coming from it with the words in a Times New Roman font. He was so disgusted with the missuse of this particular font to the dog that he decided that he would make a font better suited for their pixilated pup.

The font today is now used by many world wide. Some use it as a filter for their every day photos they take while others use it for that classic lighthearted comic book look. Heres to the person who created one of the most iconic.
